Delta Airlines Moves Forward with Cabin Rebranding

Delta Airlines is in the travel blog news again today with plans to rebrand its airplane cabins by moving towards darker hues of their existing interior colors. Edward Russell with the Points Guy broke much of this news.
The New Look
Renderings, that he reviewed, from Delta show Delta One Suites sporting dark grey seat covers with red trim. The current Delta blue darkens to a navy hue and moves to the sidewalls. Premium select and domestic first-class seats receive the updated colors on what appears to be the current seat design. Again, dark blue and grey colors dominate with splashes of red.
Economy Comfort+ seats change to solid dark grey and navy. While main cabin economy has a solid dark navy with blue color scheme.

@xJonNYC on X confirms that in coming weeks a Boeing 757-200 will be fitted out with the new interior and used as a testbed to evaluate the materials. Delta’s 757’s with the international cabin are slated for refit beginning late this spring and could be the first aircraft to debut the new interiors colors in a domestic configuration.
Delta Main Cabin
New Airbus A321neos with lie-flat seats up front will be replacing he 757’s on premium transcontinental routes. New deliveries with the rebranded interior and fleetwide refits will likely stretch well into 2026.
TBG Says
Two Boldly Go agrees that the new interiors are a bit more elegant and refined than the current colors. Aligning well with Delta’s positioning itself as a “premium” carrier. The carrier’s newly announced investment in Delta One Business lounges furthers their efforts and raises the bar for its domestic competitors.
