Great Location, Views & Service ….
Great place to end our trip….We stayed two nights at the FS Sydney property at the end of a month long trip to Australia, New Zealand and points in between. The location of the property is excellent. It is within easy walking distance of the Rocks, Circular Quay area, cruise/ferry terminal, etc.
Harbor view rooms offer excellent vistas. (In our opinion better views than can be had from the Park Hyatt.) We stayed in a Harbor View-Junior Suite that was well worth the small splurge. Room was in very good repair with the exception of a drip that developed from the AC unit in the bathroom on our last evening.
Front desk and concierge knowledgeable and polite. Service excellent.
We ate in Woods the first evening for dinner. Service and food were good, however, the restaurant has an open plan and offers very few cozy/quiet tables.
