Runway Closure at SEA-TAC Possible Delays until December
Officials at SEA-TAC airport announced the closure of the airport’s longest runway for planned maintenance. The runway is projected to reopen in December.
The Port of Seattle says that they do not expect any “major” airport delays during this time as a result of the closure as the runway will still be available for ground movements and taxing. Some passengers have reported ground delays due to airport congestion.
